The Golden State Warriors are really good at basketball; no like really, really good at it. Coming off winning a championship, the Warriors went on a 24 game winning streak. These guys are playing on a different level than everyone else and no one can figure out how to catch up to them. Reigning MVP Steph Curry is playing even better than he did last season. Curry is not the only one playing on a different level. Draymond Green is currently averaging 14 point and almost 9 rebounds a game while Klay Thompson is averaging almost 20 points a game.
This team has broken numerous records already and are looking to break the infamous 72-10 season record posted by the Michael Jordan-led Chicago Bulls. The Warriors already have the record for best start to a season at 28-1 and are still breaking that record with every game they play. They have also set a new franchise record with an impressive 14-0 home record to start the season. Their one blemish came against the Milwaukee Bucks after the team had just played an overtime game in Boston the night before.
This team is completely locked in right now despite being without their head coach Steve Kerr. Kerr has been sidelined after complications from a back surgery he had over the summer. Interim head coach Luke Walton has not missed a beat, winning Western Conference Coach of the Month in October and November. The scariest part of this team? They look like they are just getting started!
