Game 7. One of the greatest things in sports. During the NBA playoffs, we were treated to seven games between the San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Clippers. The series was all tied up with the winner going on to face the Golden State Warriors. Clippers point guard Chris Paul has often been ridiculed for his lack of postseason success.
Paul suffered an injury to his hamstring early in the game and looked like he would have to sit out for the remainder of the game further proving his inability to lead a team in the postseason. Despite being in obvious pain, Paul remained in the game in the fourth quarter. With just five seconds remaining in the game and Los Angeles having possession, Paul knew it was his time to prove the critics wrong. After a pass from Black Griffin, Paul dribbled from near half court before driving to the basket and hitting a floater over Tim Duncan to give the Clippers a two point lead with just one second remaining. Staples Center went crazy! The Clippers won the game and more importantly the series.
