He was looked at as a relatively quiet player who was not the best on the court, but did his job ad contributed to his team every night. However, once Lamar Odom married Khloe Kardashian, who is famous for reasons yet to be determined, his entire life was captured on film. Being on multiple reality shows while trying to juggle his basketball career started taking its tolls. Once he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks, Odom was not the same player and looked terrible when he played. He was eventually benched for the rest of the season. He signed a contract with the Los Angeles Clippers where everyone thought he would get a fresh start by the team that drafted him.
As a way to focus on his career, Odom decided to step away from his and his wife’s reality show for some time. It was just the first step in the decline of their marriage. Over the summer, rumors circulated that Odom had been cheating on his wife with multiple women. While that may be shocking to some, not many, it was just the start of the rumors. One of the women he allegedly had an affair with claimed that he was addicted to crack cocaine.
It was hard to believe that the former Sixth Man of the Year was using drugs, but many more facts came in to support the idea. Pictures started surfacing of Odom looking very thin with multiple rumors swirling that his wife was demanding he go to rehab or else she would leave him. He says he is clean and sober today and training to make a return to action. He is still married, but beliefs are still that the marriage will not survive much longer.
