Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has formally been indicted on six charges by the grand jury. One of those charges includes first-degree murder in the death of his friend Odin Lloyd. Members of Lloyd’s family are in the court room wearing pins in support of Lloyd. Hernandez is in court right now. He has been held in county jail without bail.
Hernandez was arrested back in June on first degree murder and multiple weapons charges. The former tight end pled not guilty on all counts. Lloyd was found shot to death near Hernandez’s home in Massachusetts. His next hearing will be on Friday to allow for the prosecution to respond to the defense’s two motions presented today.
