Things for former New England tight end Aaron Hernandez have gone from bad to worse. Hernandez is currently sitting in jail awaiting trial for the death of his friend Odin Lloyd. Since being locked up, Hernandez has racked up additional charges after allegedly getting into a fight with another inmate.
As if facing a first degree murder charge, multiple weapons charges, and an assault charge was not bad enough, Hernandez was just indicted for a double murder in 2012. The two men, Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado, were killed after partying at a nightclub on July 16, 2012. Boston authorities executed a search warrant and allegedly obtained enough evidence to convince them that Hernandez was the shooter in the deaths of the two men.
I just wonder how did it all go so wrong? Aaron Hernandez had signed a five-year contract worth $40 million just months before he got involved in this mess. Now he is being charged for the death of three men and is allegedly linked to others. He has dragged his family and fiancee into his mess as they are all facing their own charges.
The National Felon League is alive and well it seems.
