Al Michaels has long been the voice of Sunday Night Football. The 68-year-old was arrested on the suspicion of driving under the influence when he made an illegal U-turn in front of a DUI checkpoint. His blood-alcohol level was said to be slightly over the legal limit. He was arrested in Santa Monica, California where the limit is .08 and Michaels blew a .09.
He was taken into custody at 10:00PM and released at 4:15AM on his own recognizance. While drinking and driving is incredibly stupid, I doubt Michaels will face any additional jail time.
