New York Yankees third baseman is in day ten of his grievance hearing with Major League Baseball. He is still battling Commissioner Bud Selig and the league about his outrageous 211 game suspension. Rodriguez sued the league claiming there was a “witch hunt” out to get him. Rodriguez has sat through testimony from different people, but mostly Biogenesis clinic owner Tony Bosch. Rodriguez accuses the league of paying off Bosch for his testimony. Today, it sees he had enough and left the hearing abruptly. Today, Bud Selig was expected to testify and when it was found out that he would not, Rodriguez went into a fit of rage. He expressed,
“I have sat through 10 days of testimony by felons and liars, sitting quietly through every minute, trying to respect the league and the process. This morning, after Bud Selig refused to come in and testify about his rationale for the unprecedented and totally baseless punishment he hit me with, the arbitrator selected by MLB and the Players Association refused to order Selig to come in and face me. The absurdity and injustice just became too much,” Rodriguez’s statement read. “I walked out and will not participate any further in this farce.”
