Despite impressing scouts with his versatility and thus going No. 1 to the Cleveland Cavaliers in this year’s NBA Draft, it looks as though this former Kansas Jayhawk may be taking his talents to the Midwest… Minnesota to be exact.
While all want to feel “the Love”, it remains to be seen whether all-star, Kevin Love, will in fact close the rumored deal with the Cavs, which also includes 2013 No.1 draft pic, Anthony Bennett, and possibility of an additional first-round draft pick for the following season as apart of the trifecta bundle.
The Timberwolves have also discussed trade deals with Golden State, who teeter totter between keeping or parting with “Warriors” of their own, including Klay Thompson, David Lee, and Harrison Barnes- all of which played a key role in their most recent playoff run.
However, as the want and popularity grows for the likes of Kevin Love, so do the dollar signs in the minds of those in the Minnesota front office- stalling in order to create a battle between the two teams, while raising the price tag on their leading man.
Where will Love end up and what does his decision mean for Wiggins future?
Stay tuned.
