The record still stands, but the Minnesota Vikings are headed to the playoffs. The Vikings have one person to thank for that, Mr. Adrian ‘MVP’ Peterson. Peterson was going for the single-season rushing record, but came up nine yards short. However, he got his team into field goal position to take the lead at the last second. When asked about coming up short of the record immediately after the game, Peterson did not even realize that he did not get it and instead was happy that his team had advanced to the playoffs. Peterson has had an unbelievable season. What he has done, coming back from injury, is nothing short of amazing. Congrats Adrian and the entire Minnesota Vikings team.
