Tom Brady

Tom Brady

He did not just end it, he destroyed it.  He showed everyone watching last night’s game which team actually belonged in the playoffs.  The Patriots dominated last night’s game against the Broncos scoring within the first two minutes leading to a 45-10 final score.  Brady broke a postseason record and threw five of his six touchdown passes in the first half. Talk about trying to shut everyone up about Tebow.

Do you think he went out there trying to prove he was still one of the greatest quarterbacks and this kid still has a long way to go? Of course he was.  It was a home game for the Patriots and Brady gave the freezing crowd a show.  Another record that was set last night was tight end Rob Gronkowski who caught three out of the six touchdown passes from Brady.  The Patriots have been ripped all season for their defense, however, Tebow was sacked five times last night.

Unfortunately, the Broncos did have a record setting night of their own.  One record I am sure no one will cheer about- the most negative plays in a game with 14 meaning they had 14 plays in which they got negative yardage. Ouch, but Tebow seemed to be in good spirits after the game. “A lot of ups and downs,” Tebow said of his second NFL season. “Overall, it’s been a very special opportunity for me, something I’m really thankful for. There’s a lot of things we’re proud of. Obviously, it’s hard to see them all right now.”  The Patriots will face the winner of the Houston-Baltimore game which airs at 1:00 pm today.
