He has been retired for less than a year, but Atlanta Braves great Chipper Jones is already getting his number retired.   The third baseman spent his entire career in Atlanta and is considered one of the greatest to ever wear a Braves uniform.  He won a National League MVP award in 1999, batting title in 2008, the World Series in 1995, and has been an All-Star eight times.  The 40-year-old was known for his clutch hitting, especially against the New York Mets.  Jones enjoyed playing in New York so much he named his son Shea after Shea Stadium.  Chipper’s number will be the tenth number retired for the Braves.  He joins some great names including Hank Aaron, 44, Tom Glavine, 47, and Bobby Cox, 6.  His induction ceremony will be held on June 28th before a game with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
