The first round of the NFL Draft is in full swing with the Cleveland Browns kicking things off. The Browns were a really bad team this past season who had a lot of needs to address. Many pointed to a lack of an established quarterback as the biggest problem, however with the Browns being the Browns, they had other ideas. The Browns drafted Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett with the number one overall pick.

Not that Garrett is a bad pick. It is quite the opposite, he is a great pick. Some people want to label him as “lazy” or a guy who takes plays off, but that seems ridiculous when you look at what he did in college. He brings something to Cleveland that the team has been missing for quite some time. The Browns really have not had a dominant pass rusher in recent history. Since 1999, only three players have finished the season with double-digit sacks. Reaching that accomplishment will likely be a goal for Garrett in his first season.
