This series reminded us just how good sports can be. The Boston Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks have been in one of the most intense Stanley Cup Finals in history. Neither one of these teams will go down without a fight. However, the Blackhawks currently have a one game advantage over the Bruins and are one game away from bringing home the Cup. Both teams are facing the possibility of playing without one of their stars tonight. The Blackhawks lost Jonathan Toews in the third period of Game 5 after suffering a blow to the head. Toews vows that he feels fine and will absolutely play in tonight’s game. The Bruins lost Patrice Bergeron after he was taken to the hospital after suffering an injury during the same game. Bergeron also promises to be on the ice tonight.
For the most part in these games, the goalies have been front and center. Both Corey Crawford and Tuukka Rask have been phenomenal at protecting their team’s goal. They have helped make this matchup one for the history books as no one wants this series to end! Even if you do not like hockey, this series has been nothing but suspense. Game 6 will be in Boston and in hopes of a Game 7, I hope that the Bruins can live to see another day. Bruins or Blackhawks- Who You Takin?
