Clearly Eagles running back Bryce Brown got wind of what the media was reporting because he took to his social media account to proclaim his innocence. Recently, Brown was connected to an illegal dog fighting ring when his pitbull Ellis was seized by Kansas police. The dog, along with her seven puppies, were with Joseph Sudbrink when police came in and raided Sudbrink’s business, Northland Pits. The puppies were there to be weened off of its mother so that Ellis could give them to family and friends.
Unfortunately, the Eagles have a history with players associated with dog fighting as quarterback Michael Vick served almost two years in jail for a dog fighting ring. Brown trying to clear up people’s assumptions that he was involved wrote on Twitter that he has nothing to do with it and even included an adorable picture of Ellis and himself (see above).
