sketbaWe saw the return of Derrick Rose against the Miami Heat and we were a little underwhelmed. Maybe tonight on his home court, he will impress us against the New York Knicks. The Knicks are coming off a win against the Milwaukee Bucks in which they blew a 25 point lead with too many turnovers. The Knicks will have to play smarter against a Bulls team that play good, physical defense.
Tyson Chandler is starting off the year right with five blocks against Milwaukee. The Knicks center looked dominant in the paint; something he lacked last year in the playoffs. The Knicks are still without guard JR Smith who is serving his second game of a five-game suspension. For the Bulls to win, all they need is to make their shots. In their game against the Heat, the Bulls could not get any offense going. They were sloppy wit the ball and when they did put it up, it did not go in.
For Derrick Rose’s debut at the United Center, I think he will come out and have a huge game tonight. He showed off his athletic ability in the last game, but could not get any offensive rhythm all night. Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony plays very well against the Bulls, averaging 35 points against them. Both should lead their teams in scoring tonight with the Bulls getting their first win. Bulls vs. Knicks- who you takin?
