If you are an NFL memorabilia collector, then this is definitely for you! Bears receiver Brandon Marshall is auctioning off his game-worn cleats from last night’s game against the New York Giants. The Bears won that game 27-21, with Marshall catching two touchdown passes. The Bears now sit atop the NFC North at 4-2.
Marshall made headlines this week with his decision to wear neon green cleats to bring awareness to mental health. Marshall himself suffers from Borderline Personality Disorder.
Despite the cleats being meant for a good cause, the NFL is still fining Marshall for wearing the shoes and not the one’s designed for the Bears. He is expected to be hit with at least a $10,000 fine for disobeying the NFL. Currently, the bids for his shoes are at $2,050. The auction concludes Monday, October 14th immediately following Monday Night Football. To bid on the shoes, click here.
