It may be extremely, extremely unlikely, but it can happen. Can the San Antonio Spurs really go undefeated this entire postseason? Apparently, they seem to be unbeatable. I had the Spurs taking the whole thing, but I at least expected them to lose a game here and there. However, the Spurs are currently 2-0 against the Oklahoma City Thunder, winning their twentieth straight game. How are they doing it? They are far from a flashy team that makes a simple layout a high flying dunk. They are by far one of the best teams when it comes to ball movement. They make a lot of smart, accurate passes to keep their opponent’s defense constantly guessing who is eventually going to take the shot. Last night especially it seemed like their shooting accuracy was unbelievable. What shot did not drop last night for them? Credit has to be given to the Coach of the Year, Greg Popovich. He sees the game like a true chess match. Another great note about Coach Popovich, he does not play favorites. Yesterday we saw him getting in the face of superstar Tony Parker. This is so important in the way the Spurs have been playing. They are unselfish and are more worried about the win than their individual stats at the end. My guess is that Game 3 in Oklahoma City will end their win streak just because the Thunder are so good at home and love to perform for their fans. However, I do not think that San Antonio are just going to give them an easy win. When have they ever done that?

  1. I believe the Thunder can win one game at home, but I’m afraid I’m underestimating the Spurs yet again.

    1. haha no i think youre right… the thunder need to regroup for their fans if any team in the west can give the spurs competition its them and they need to play with that confidence
