The Cardinals might be the hottest team in football and they are doing it without their starting quarterback, Carson Palmer. Backup quarterback Drew Stanton has led the Cardinals to two straight wins in Palmer’s absence, but now their quarterback is healthy and they head to Denver.
While the Broncos’ quarterback is looking for a huge personal milestone during today’s game. Peyton Manning has thrown 499 touchdowns in his career. Today, he will try, and most likely, pick up number 500. He would join only Brett Farve in the 500 touchdown passes club, Farve has 508.
More importantly, the Broncos are coming off a big loss against the Seattle Seahawks; a thrilling matchup that went into overtime. The Broncos need to have a bounce back week against the Cardinals and with all of the missing players on the Cardinals side of the ball, they should be able to get it done.
