It was a bitter East rivalry matchup in Boston with the visiting Chicago Bulls. The Bulls were without their All-Star point guard Derrick Rose. Rose has been suffering from back pains. He is expected to see a specialist tomorrow for what Coach Tom Thibodeau called ‘stiffness’. However, Boston Celtics’ point guard put on a show for the crowd. Rajon Rondo had a triple-double, including 32 points, 15 assists, and 10 rebounds. Power forward Kevin Garnett also helped his team win with 13 points and 12 rebounds. The Bulls trailed by as many at 14 at one point in the fourth quarter. The Bulls came very close with 1:23 left on the clock when Luol Deng made his two free throws pulling the team within three, 91-88.
