While the Miami Heat continue to dominate the Eastern Conference, the two teams that could pose a threat to them play tonight. Boston is coming off a big win on the road against the Philadelphia 76ers behind Avery Bradley’s 22 point game. Now they must face an extremely physical Pacers team in Indiana. Indiana has proven that if anyone can steal the title away from the Heat it would be them. They are physical, talented, and have very good big men. The Celtics still need help in the front court, but they do have future hall of famer Kevin Garnett patrolling there. Coach Doc Rivers had wanted to rest both Garnett and Paul Pierce, but it doesn’t look likely that they will be able to win this one without them.
This should be a good matchup for both teams. The Celtics have surged ever since point guard Rajon Rondo went down with an ACL tear. They look like they could possibly do some damage in the postseason and the Pacers are a team they may face. The Pacers are tired of being overshadowed by the flashy Heat and want their own respect. They are a good team even while their star, Danny Granger, has sat out almost the entire season.
I think the Pacers will win this won. The Celtics are not a good road team and they are coming off a game last night in Philadelphia. I think the Celtics will be too tired for a team as physical as the Pacers. Celtics vs. Pacers, who you takin?
