Was it ex-wife Evelyn Lozada? Not quite. Was it Tim Tebow there to lead Chad in prayer? Nope. It was his former teammate and equally cocky wide receiver Terrell Owens. Owens and Johnson were teammates on the Cincinnati Bengals. Owens reported that Ocho is in good spirits and he was humbled by the experience. Owens explained that it was the first time he ever visited someone in jail and he got to video chat with Johnson.
Johnson was placed in county jail after slapping his attorney on the backside during a probation hearing. The female judge took it as a sign of disrespect and sentenced the former wide receiver to 30 days in jail. While it may be excessive, hopefully it will help turn this once elite receiver back into an NFL player. However, it may be too late.
