The children at Christopher’s Haven children’s hospital in Boston got quite the surprise today when Star-Lord, played by the actor Chris Pratt, showed up. Pratt, a lifelong Seahawks fan, made a bet with Chris Evans, a lifelong Patriots fan that whichever team lost, that person would have to visit a children’s hospital in their team’s respective city. The catch was Pratt would have to show up in his Star-Lord costume from their movie “Guardians of the Galaxy”. Evans plays Captain America in the film.
Pratt held up his end of the bet, even signing a Tom Brady jersey during the visit. The two actors got to spend time with some of the patients and their families. The two brought a lot of smiles to these families and also managed to raise $27,000 for both hospitals!
