If it wasn’t for these two teams both being in the Western Conference, this could have been a NBA Finals matchup. These teams are tied at 32 wins and have the two best records in the NBA, the Thunder have one less loss. Clippers pint guard Chris Paul made a return to action, but did not perform well in the two games he played in. Head coach Vinny Del Negro said his status is uncertain for tonight’s game. The Clippers have the edge in this matchup in that they have beaten the Thunder four times in a row at the Staples Center.
Being that Chris Paul is not 100%, I give this one to the Thunder. Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant have been playing spectacular basketball. I expect a lot of high flying dunks from both teams, but especially the Clippers who no matter what the score is love to put on a show for their home crowd. This will definitely be a Western Conference Finals preview. Clippers vs. Thunder-who you takin?
