Richard Sherman caught everyone’s attention when he delivered a post game interview where he repeatedly called San Francisco receiver Michael Crabtree “mediocre” and made the infamous choke sign towards quarterback Colin Kaepernick. As expected, the 49ers were not too thrilled with Sherman’s antics and this rivalry only became more passionate.
Kaepernick spoke to the New York Post and explained his feelings on the matter. He said that his comments about Crabtree were “ridiculous” and there is no reason to tell people you are the best if you are truly the best.
When asked about the choke sign directed at him, he said, “Did that make you feel better about yourself? Then go ahead. Because I’m not worried about you.” He said he looks forward to his rematch against the Seahawks next season. The teams will play each other twice and the games will definitely be must watch television now.
Kaepernick also took the blame for the tipped pass that ended the game saying if he threw it one foot longer it would have been the play of the game.
