Peyton Manning is having a historic season. Sixteen touchdowns and zero turnovers. He has picked apart defenses like nobody else this season. Today, he takes on yet another NFC East team in the Dallas Cowboys. The Broncos have had incredible success when he played against the Giants and Eagles. The Cowboys have been the best team in the NFC East, but that does not say much as they stand at a 2-2 record.
This will be Manning’s first trip to Jerry World. Despite getting off to a hot start, Denver head coach John Fox still thinks the Broncos could improve; especially in the run game. However, the passing game has been so good, they have not needed a quality running back. If the Cowboys want a chance in this game they will not only need to keep Denver’s offense off the field, but their receivers need to have huge days. The Broncos will be without Champ Bailey for another week giving Dez Bryant a chance to have a big day. The Broncos will have to figure out how to take tight end Jason Witten, Romo’s favorite target, out of the game.
The Broncos should win this game easily. The NFC East has not been able to handle the Broncos high-powered offense and it does not appear that the Cowboys will either. Manning has too many weapons that he can throw to, and they can all make huge plays. This team is playing at another level, but the Cowboys will definitely be the biggest test of the year so far for Denver. This may be the first time thee Broncos will see the effect of losing left tackle Ryan Clady as his replacement Chris Clark will go against defensive end Demarcus Ware. Broncos vs. Cowboys- who you takin?
