2013 was just not the year for Curtis Granderson to play. After only being back eight games, the Yankees center fielder will be out at least another four weeks. Granderson had missed the majority of the season with a broken forearm and now he has a broken pinkie to match. Granderson was hit by a pitch in tonight’s game against the Tampa Bay Rays. He stayed in the game after being hit and eventually scored a run. However, when he went into the dugout for X-rays, it was revealed how serious the injury actually was. This is the last year on Granderson’s contract with the Yankees. As always, I wish him a speedy recovery!
