Yesterday, we saw the exit of the Baltimore Ravens and Carolina Panthers.  In a thrilling game against the New England Patriots, the Ravens fell just short after a costly interception in the end zone by Joe Flacco.  The Carolina Panthers had to play a perfect game against the defending champs and they fell well short of that.  Today, two more teams will be sent packing.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Green Bay Packers

Controversy always follows the Cowboys even when they win.  Last week, the Cowboys defeated the Detroit Lions with some help from the referees.  There were missed calls and a flag that was thrown, but then picked up that ended up deciding the game.  Today, they to Lambeau Field to face a hobbled Aaron Rodgers and company.  The Cowboys should feel confident about playing away from Jerry World as they were the only undefeated road team this season.

Packers fans would probably feel a lot better if their quarterback Aaron Rodgers did not suffer a calf injury two weeks ago. Rodgers will likely be less mobile and unable to scramble; something that should make the Cowboys defense smile.

Denver Broncos vs. Indianapolis Colts

Peyton Manning vs. his old team.  It almost seemed inevitable that we would see this matchup.  The Broncos got a much needed week off to regroup and get healthy.  Peyton Manning had taken some big hits these past few weeks as his offensive line has not played well.  The Broncos are at their best when their running game is working and the offensive load is taken off of Manning’s shoulders.

The Indianapolis Colts had a convincing win last week against the Cincinnati Bengals who did not put up much of a fight.  Andrew Luck has been playing exceptionally well with both TY Hilton and Reggie Wayne healthy.
