A public execution of Kim Jung Un’s uncle might stop most people from traveling to North Korea, but not Dennis Rodman. This time, instead of visiting his “good friend”, Rodman will help train the North Korean basketball team. He had this trip planned for awhile and will leave on Monday. To celebrate his friend’s birthday, he also set up an exhibition game in January. He will turn 31 on January 8th. Rodman has recruited fellow former NBA players for the game, a roster has not yet been revealed.
This is not the first time Rodman has traveled to North Korea. He went earlier this year along with the Harlem Globetrotters to film a documentary about basketball. Rodman has described the leader as a “nice” guy, however, he has been accused of some of the worst acts on humanity. He just killed his uncle Rodman! Still think he is a nice guy to have lunch with?
