Chicago fans are holding their breath this morning as they await the MRI results once again for Derrick Rose. During yesterday’s game against the Portland Trailblazers, Rose came up limping during a play and was taken out of the game. Â He did not come back into the game and everyone is fearing the worst.
He injured his left knee which is not the knee that he ACL reconstruction surgery on two seasons ago. Â Due to that injury, he did not play at all last season. Â His teammate, Taj Gibson, spoke with Rose after the game. Â “I went in and checked on him. He said he was feeling OK but he has to wait and see for [Saturday]. He has to wait and see what the MRI says. He didn’t seem nervous,” Gibson said. Â Despite missing all of last season, Rose has worked extremely hard to get back to where he was before he had surgery and it was terrible to see his season end like this.
