It has not been a great season for injured Redskins receiver DeSean Jackson. Jackson has only played in one game this season due to a hamstring issue. He has been spending time at his home in Los Angeles home nursing his injury.
On Wednesday night when the three time Pro-Bowl receiver was not home, a group of men allegedly stormed his mansion and was met by six men in the home. According to TMZ Sports, an altercation broke out and one person who was in the home was allegedly pistol whipped. The attempted intruders fled the scene shortly thereafter. TMZ also reporting that this was likely committed by people who are familiar with the home as they were aware of the location of the security cameras.
Jackson’s home in Philadelphia was also broken into when the receiver spent time with the Eagles. His publicist has commented on the incident saying Jackson is not even in Los Angeles. “DeSean is getting ready to be a father for the first time. He’s currently in Virginia practicing with the team. He had no knowledge of the incident until a phone call last evening. It’s a legal matter. We’re waiting for police to let us know more about the incident.”
