Dez Bryant has been out since week one, but that doesn’t mean that he hasn’t been busy during his time off. Bryant has been getting a lot done, mostly to help heal his broken foot going as far as getting an injection to help speed up his recovery time.
While the shot may have helped, Bryant is doubtful for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants, but the news hasn’t been on Bryant’s foot or his return as of lately. The news has really been that Dez Bryant has used some of his new paycheck after his big contract to buy a baby monkey.
Bryant posted the picture to his Instagram and it has been the talk of Dallas fans, lovers of cute animals and it’s just hard to ignore how adorable the little guy truly is. Bryant captioned the picture, “My new best friend…. Dallas Bryant world #throwupthex” which is a nice tribute to his team and just a plain cute name for his new monkey. While it is unclear how long Bryant has had the monkey, if Matt Cassel doesn’t give the Cowboys a win, they might as well put Dallas out there to try to score some points, because everyone knows that Brandon Weeden isn’t doing that and a monkey might actually be able to score on some final drives or maybe take Dez’s place until his foot’s completely healed. Regardless of what happens with the Cowboys, Dez’s picture will make you go “Awwww!”
