After one of the craziest offseasons any player has ever had, Elvis Dumervil has found a new home in Baltimore. The defensive end has signed a five year contract with the Ravens after being cut by the Denver Broncos. The Broncos and Dumervil had reached a deal, but Dumervil’s agent did not fax over the signed contract before the signing bonus deadline. This is a good move for the Ravens who have lost so many key figures on defense. He will be a good veteran leader who will try and fill the gaping hole left behind by Ray Lewis’s retirement and Ed Reed’s departure to Houston. The Broncos are looking at Dwight Freeney, Peyton Manning’s former teammate, and John Abraham to fill Dumervil’s spot.
