In much happier times
This has been quite a low point for the over-the-top wide receiver. It was announced that Chad Johnson was cut from the Miami Dolphins after his arrest for misdemeanor domestic battery. Johnson still had another source of income, or so he thought. The couple had a reality show, “Ev and Ocho”, that was supposed to be aired in three weeks. After the arrest, VH1 had no idea what to do with the show that followed the couple from when they first started dating up until their wedding. At first there were reports that the show was still going to air, however VH1 has changed their mind and the show has been axed.
VH1 made this comment,”Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev and Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it.” This is probably the best decision for all, especially viewers since I am sure not many were interested in this attention hungry couple. The couple should be happy that they are getting some time to lay low for once in their careers. However, judging by these two, I am sure they will be in the headlines for weeks to come. As with all serious Hollywood scandals, somehow these two will become even more famous.
