After learning that he is facing up to 30 years in jail yesterday, the evidence allegedly convicting Darren Sharper of multiple counts of rape has now been made public. The former NFL player has learned that he is facing eleven counts of allegedly drugging women and raping seven of them in four different states.
Police allege that Shaper met the alleged California victims at a West Hollywood nightclub and gave them each a shot glass that allegedly contained alcohol mixed with a drug that would knock his victims unconscious. The Los Angeles District Attorney claims that on the night of November 20th, Sharper met three women at a nightclub who invited back to his residence in Scottsdale, AZ. Sharper and two of the women continued drinking at the home where he allegedly slipped Ambien into their drinks.
The women claim they were raped shortly after taking the shot. They reported the incident to police who went to Sharper’s residence the next day. Detectives collected the shot glasses which has residue from the sleep-aid Ambien. He is currently only charged for the two counts of rape in California.
