Floyd Mayweather, one of the most famous boxers of our time, is currently in a Las Vegas courtroom to turn himself in after being sentenced to 90 days in jail for domestic battery. The five-time world champion was convicted on beating up the mother of his children as well as pleading no contest to harassment for threatening his children. Luckily for him he has the support of both Ray-J, a rapper (best known for making a certain tape with a Kardashian) and Lil’ Kim, another rapper. Who would not want support from these two characters?
Well it was a change of plans thanks to Mr. Mayweather’s attorney. Mayweather’s sentence has been postponed until June 1st allowing him to fight against unknown opponent on May 5th at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. The reasoning for the delay? His attorney showed the judge that the fight would bring in millions of dollars for the city. I guess the world really is motivated by money…
