Add a new injury the Yankees have to deal with. Center fielder Curtis Granderson suffered a broken forearm today during a Spring Training game against the Toronto Blue Jays. During his first at-bat, pitcher J.A. Happ struck Granderson. He was quickly pulled from the game for precautionary reasons when x-rays returned the bad news. “I didn’t think it was (fractured),” Granderson said. Granderson is a huge loss for the Yankees who are already miss third baseman Alex Rodriguez. Granderson supplied most of the power to the team, hitting 43 home runs last year. The Yankees will now have to rely on Matt Diaz and Juan Rivera to patrol centerfield. Sorry Yankees fans.
