The legendary home run king Barry Bonds is used to watching things fly out the park, it was basically his entire career. However, this time, someone has stolen something from Bonds. A plaque commemorating Bonds’ 756th home run was stolen from AT&T Park in San Francisco earlier this week. The stadium is currently reviewing security video, but does not seem to have a suspect quite yet. Bonds broke Hank Aaron’s former home run record in 2007 in San Francisco. He finished his career with 762 home runs. Bonds is a regular at AT&T Park and despite all the steroid “allegations”, he still receives a standing ovation from the fans.
