Wow, what a huge pickup for the New York Yankees. As is their lineup was not already stacked, they just added Seattle Mariners icon Ichiro Suzuki. Naturally, most would think that Ichiro would have a hefty price tag, but it only cost the Yankees two pitching prospects. The Yankees are currently in Seattle to open up a three game set against the Mariners and there is no word on which team Ichiro will play for. The Yankees need help in the outfield after losing Brett Gardner for what looks like the whole season. Ichiro is now 38, he is a TEN-time All Star, 10 time Gold Glove winner, former Rookie of the Year, and has the Mariners’s record in batting average and hits. He is kind of a big deal.
