Will these football players ever learn that nothing good ever comes from alcohol, strippers, and late night partying? At least this time no one was arrested! Baltimore Ravens receiver Jacoby Jones was out with other teammates for Bryant McKinnie’s birthday last night when things went awry.
While the group was heading home on a party bus after partying at Washington D.C. club Opera Ultra Lounge Jones was struck in the head. Allegedly a stripped who goes by the name “Sweet Pea” hit Jones over the head with a bottle of Ace of Spades champagne. A brawl erupted shortly after while Jones was bleeding profusely. Friends of the Dancing with the Stars alumni wanted to lash out at “Sweet Pea”, but were held back by McKinnie. Police arrives at the scene after an ambulance was called for a “bleeding male”. There were no arrests made.
Jones has not played since week 1 when a teammate ran into him during the game. He came into Ravens’ training camp out of shape and failed a conditioning test. He is expected to be out at least another two to three weeks. Moral of the story? Never trust a stripper named Sweet Pea!
You know, Bryant McKinnie played in big role in that whole “Party Boat” thing in Minnesota…I’m pretty sure this is not a coincidence.
