While visiting Cuba, rap mogul turned sports agent Jay-Z has released a new song and he is not holding back. Just days after selling his shares in the Brooklyn Nets, he talks about making money of the fans in “Open Letter”. In the song he says, ” Would’ve brought the Nets to Brooklyn for free; except I made millions off it, you f*ckin dweebs. I still own the building, I’m still keeping my seat. Y’all but that bullsh*it, you’d better keep your receipt.”
Pretty harsh words for the fans who did nothing, but support the rapper and his decision to move the team to Brooklyn. However, maybe Jay-Z is referring to the Nets front office? Either way, it doesn’t sound like Jay-Z’s decision to sell his shares in the team was strictly a business decision anymore. The song talks about other controversial topics including his trip to Cuba and his relationship with President Obama. Somebody made Jay-Z mad and we get the benefits of it with new music from one of rap’s greatest!
