In the last week of football, we have plenty of teams still fighting for a playoff spot, but there are also two players looking to break individual records.  Calvin Johnson has already broken the single season receiving record once held by the great Jerry Rice.  Today, he looks to become the first receiver to reach 2,000 yards. He goes up against a Chicago Bears who are still barely alive in the playoff hunt.  Adrian Peterson has been amazing this year.  The fact that he came back from ACL surgery so quickly should be a record on its own. However, he is chasing the rushing record set by Eric Dickerson. Peterson currently has 1,898 rushing yards and needs 208 yards to surpass his record.  If Peterson gets to 2,000 yards that should be plenty, but this is a guy who lives to show people he can do the impossible.  So who gets breaks their respective record?  This is so tough to decide because both men are so motivated to break the records. However, I think that Johnson will get to 2,000 because he is playing a depleted Bears’ defense and only needs a little over 100 yards something he has made look easy as of late.  I think Peterson breaks the 2,000 mark, but comes up short on the record.  So, which player breaks history today, who you takin?
