JR Smith is partying like he already won the NBA Championship! Last week he came under fire after he went out before Game 5 against the Boston Celtics and he had an awful game the next day. Clearly, he did not learn his lesson. Last night he was out on the town watching the Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight at the 40/40 Club, which is owned by Jay-Z, and he was not alone! The 40/40 Club sent out this tweet announcing all the sports stars in the building:
While all of these guys have off days tomorrow, Cam Newton has plenty of time to work off the alcohol, JR and the New York Knicks have a game today 3:30PM! Hopefully, Smith just watched the fight and sipped on water all night because Knicks fans are not going to be happy if the reigning Sixth Man of the Year comes out flat again! However, this was the scene last night at the 40/40 so staying sober looks pretty hard! Good luck to Smith and the Knicks who take on the Indiana Pacers in the second round of the playoffs!
