It looks like Matt Kemp’s run for MVP is just not meant to be this year. After starting off the year as one of the best players in the National League, Kemp found himself on the DL with a hamstring strain. Well, what could make his much awaited return not so great? Two days after making his debut, Kemp has landed back on the DL when he aggravated the same hamstring. He re-injured himself rounding third base after trying to score from third base when teammate Andre Ethier hit a double. Kemp is expected to miss about four weeks. There is always next year to win MVP, I guess? At least he has that nice big salary to buy something to make himself feel better.
