It was the divorce that everyone saw coming months ago. However, Star Magazine is reporting that Khloe Kardashian is ready to move on and will file for divorce from NBA free agent husband Lamar Odom on Monday. The couple have been dealing with his alleged affairs and addiction to drugs. Khloe had publicly supported her husband through all of the allegations, but it appears she is fed up with his refusal to get help. The couple’s fourth wedding anniversary was yesterday and they spent the day separately. Lamar was said to have been planning an extravagant celebration, but Khloe wanted no part of it.
It has been rumored that she has been considering filing for a while now, but waited until after their anniversary to file. The reason you may ask? According to Khloe and Lamar’s prenuptial agreement, she receives $500,000 for each they were married. The couple having reached four years together would equal a $2 million paycheck for Khloe. She is also entitled to keep the couple’s shared home in California. Lamar is said to be disgusted by the idea that Khloe is using him for money.
I would be surprised as well if money was at the center of all this. As money hungry as this family appears, Khloe is probably worth more than Lamar. She has many business ventures that are ongoing, while Lamar is a free agent and not making any money right now. Khloe has dropped the name ‘Odom’ from her social media accounts which many point to a sign that she is telling people she is single again. While it is only social media, everything this family does is calculated so it could be a sign. Many expected Khloe to wait until after she finished filming Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but that does not appear to be the case.
