Klay Thompson was unreal last night. If there wasn’t video proof, it would be hard to believe Thompson dropped 37 points in the third quarter alone! He set a new record for points scored in a quarter and finished the night with 52 points against in state rival Sacramento.
Going into the third quarter, Thompson had thirteen points. When time expired in the third quarter, he had FIFTY!! He went 13 for 13 during the third quarter and looked like a man possessed. It was not until the fourth quarter that he finally came back to Earth and missed a shot.
Thompson had everyone’s attention last night. His teammates could not help but stand back and watch the greatness. Fellow Splash Brother Steph Curry could not help but laugh during the third quarter. Thompson’s father, Mychal Thompson, works for the Lakers, but was able to catch his son’s record-setting performance. 
The Warriors have impressed all season and this is just their latest accomplishment. They are the best team in the Western Conference at 35-6. They welcome the Celtics tomorrow as they look to extend their winning streak to five games.
