After another heartbreaking loss at the Garden, things for New York Knicks point guard Raymond Felton got a lot worse. According to the New York Daily News, Felton, who is having a terrible season, was arrested on three felony counts of possessing a firearm. Allegedly his ex-wife, the couple recently split, brought the gun, a Belgian pistol, to police.
Felton was officially charged with second and three degree possession of a firearm along with an additional misdemeanor. Felton headed over the 20th precinct after the Knicks’ loss to the Dallas Mavericks for questioning where he was then taken into custody. Yesterday, the Knicks bought out backup point guard Beno Udrih which could now prove to be a big problem for the Knicks if Felton cannot play the rest of the season. He will appear in court later today.
