While many think that Los Angeles is not big enough for two superstars, Kobe Bryant and Yasiel Puig prove that two can co-exist. Bryant has been a household name in Los Angeles after winning five rings with the Lakers and being one of the most dominant players ever. Yasiel Puig is the rookie sensation that has added excitement to baseball. Puig has helped the Dodgers become a must watch team and one that has potential to do damage in the playoffs.
Bryant is famous for not getting along with other superstars on the court (i.e. Shaq and Dwight Howard), but he gets along great with a player in a different sport! Puig got the chance to hang out with Kobe Bryant while he rehabbed his torn Achilles. Puig, who is still working on his English, looked like he hit it off with Bryant. Bryant then tweeted that he appreciated the visit and would be in attendance for tonight’s Dodger-Yankees game. 
Puig also spent time with Lakers’ general manager Mitch Kupchak. Puig is the most talked about player baseball who is not connected with the Biogenesis scandal. While Puig’s career is just taking off, Bryant faces the real possibility of retirement for the first time in his career.
