Move over Mike D’Antoni, coach Kobe Bryant has a few plays up his sleeve. Yesterday, the Lakers were set to play the Indiana Pacers and while Bryant was in the starting line up it was clear he was playing through a lot of pain. Instead of playing through it and potentially doing more damage, he came out in the first quarter and did not return for the rest of the game. Instead of just sitting on the bench and supporting his teammates, he grabbed the clipboard and drew up some plays. Why not? He’s a 17 year veteran and knows the game in and out better than anyone. It must have worked because the Lakers won 99-93 in a game they were predicted to get blown out. Sure looks like Dwight and Kobe have finally figured it out. They are on the same team, play like it.
