LeBron James is one of the most controversial athletes on the court, but everyone agrees he always gives back to the kids. The father of three tweeted last night about his new program, I Promise, that would send students to college for free.

This program works with the University of Akron to give out full-ride scholarships, valued at $38,000, to any child that completes the program. The exact qualifications are still being hammered out. James was seen yesterday practicing with Team USA in Las Vegas, but did not insure another Olympic run. If he did participate this would be his fourth time representing Team USA, bringing home the gold twice in 2008 and 2012.
