LeBron James has been credited with being many things to the NBA. He’s the “Chosen One” meant to be one of the greatest ever to play the game. However, during tonight’s game James looked less like basketball royalty and more like basketball’s crybaby. King James walked off the court in the middle of the Cavaliers’ game against the Hawks. James received a tech for delay of game for his action.
Clearly James was frustrated, he was seen having a mini tantrum as he plopped down in a chair on the Cavs bench. No word yet on what had James so frustrated. Maybe it was the Cavs’ ineffective play, or maybe his back was bothering him. Perhaps it was losing the bet he had with Draymond Green over the Michigan State vs. Ohio State game. Whatever it was, as the face of the league, James is expected to keep a better check on his emotions. You can’t be voice of reason and responsibility one day and display a blatant disrespect for the game the next. Clearly the actions are out of character for Lebron, here’s hoping this is the last time we see King James impersonating Randy Moss, or any other petulant athlete.
James and the Cavs ended up defeating Atlanta 109 – 97.
